NEW UNITS FOR SALE
 

An exciting month of August at Akoya condominium with a total of 13 units hitting the For Sale market. These new listing have an average asking price per square foot of $774. A few listings to highlight are Ts-01 which hit the market this time at $5,950,000 and Corner unit #4107 that  offers unobstructed 240 degree views listed at $1,225,000. Last but not least, we have unit #3309 facing north offering one bedroom plus a closed den and two bathrooms – this unit is being offered at $759,000. We have a total of 39 active units for sale in the building.

Only one unit was sold last month at Akoya condominium. Corner unit #2207 was sold for $800,000 which is $398k less than the original asking price and after 258 days of being in the market. This condo closed as a cash transaction.

NEW UNITS FOR RENT
 

Not only did we have a lot of activity in the For Sale market but also in the For Rent market with a total of 16 units being offered for rent last month. These new listing have an average asking price of $3,981 per month. As we approach the season, more units hit the market. Most of them are being offered fully furnished and seasonal only.

UNITS RENTED
 

Nine units were rented last month in the building. These units rented for an average monthly price of $3,822. Most of these condos were offered fully furnished. The active inventory of units for rent is now 55; however, most of these units are already reserved for the high season.
