NEW UNITS FOR SALE
 

Two units struck the For Sale market in the past month in the building. We have unit #2104 listed at $560K and Cabana #30 listed at $295K. We must mention cabana #30 has direct access to the beach. Cabanas like this one do not come often on the market but when they do, they don’t last long!

UNITS SOLD
 

Two corner units were sold in the past month at Akoya condominium. These 3 beds 2- 1.5 baths condos were sold for a median price of $1,362,500. These units lasted an average of 402 days on the market. One closed as a cash transaction and the other one closed through financing with a conventional loan. We must highlight unit #2301, which had lasted for almost 2 years on the market, was finally sold for $600,000 less than the original asking price.

NEW UNITS FOR RENT
 

A lot of motivation was shown by homeowners this past month at the Akoya condominium. There were nine new units in total listed for rent. These new listings have an average asking price of $3,700 per month. We would like to mention that unit #2104 is also listed for sale. This is a trend we see now very often on the market, where owners list their units for sale and rent at the same time to see which happens first. Sometimes when the units are listed for sale for a long time and still have not been able to be sold, owners also list them for rent. In that way, they can cover some of the unit expenses.
